One day, Yeon-ju, a college student in a similar situation to Hee-chul, asks him to play the lead role in one of her short films. Hee-chul dreams and hopes for the possibility of finding a new relationship through film. But reality belies his dreams. His grandmother, who is tired of the grim reality of life, leaves a note saying that she can no longer live with him and moves out of his house to begin a brand new life. And soon after, his father gets involved in bad financial dealings and becomes a wanted man.
